This program is ideal for parents of preteens and teens. “The convenience of so much digital media available to us and our children, right at our fingertips, can be both a positive and negative impact on daily life,” said Marla Meyers, JFCS executive director. “By bringing Screenagers and a panel of distinguished experts to discuss issues, parents will receive guidance and the confidence in balancing the time their children spend in front of and removed from screens.”

A panel discussion for parents will follow, to include three local professionals: Jessica L. Miller, Haddonfield Central /Middle School Media Specialist; Dr. Eric Dorn, Pediatrician at Advocare Marlton Pediatrics; and Sandy Kabel, Assistant Director of Clinical Services at JFCS.

Registration is free, but required, by visiting www.bit.ly/Screen17. For questions, contact Lara Barrett, Director of Marketing and Communications at JFCS, at (856) 424–1333, ext. 1165, or by email at lbarrett@jfedsnj.org.
