At this month’s meeting, the group will be auctioning donated white elephant items to raise more money for the club’s end of the year charity, plus the club is collecting baby items for the Newborns in Need organization that provides essential items to new parents when they take their new babies home from the hospital.

Next month at the club’s February meeting the group will have a speaker from the AARP giving information on how to prevent fraud and identity theft, and in March the club will have a speaker from Boomer Chicks discussing the importance of play in one’s life.

Recent additional social activities for the club have included a holiday dinner at the Robin’s Nest in Mt Holly, and a tour of the Festival of Trees at Morwen Mansion in Princeton.

Recent charitable projects included collecting enough donations to make four holiday baskets of gifts for Catholic Charities Delaware House patients.
