Weekly Roundup: Boards of Education Reorganize and more

The Evesham Township School District BOE and Lenape Regional High School District BOE each held their annual reorganization meetings this week, police are looking for information on suspects who exposed themselves to residents and Burlington County is once again offering free Christmas tree recycling. Evesham Board of Education holds annual reorganization meeting on Jan. 3

The Evesham Township School District Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting on Jan. 3. During the meeting the board selected JoAnne Harmon to serve as board president, and after a somewhat continuos debate, Sandy Student was selected to be vice president. Also during the meeting newly elected board members Dennis Mehigan and William McGoey were sworn in along with re-elected members Trish Everhart and Nichole Stone.

Lenape Regional High School District holds annual reorganization meeting

This week the Lenape Regional High School District also held its annual reorganization meeting on Jan. 4. New board member Bonnie Olt was sworn-in to represent Evesham Township, and incumbents Margaret M. Estlow of Woodland Township and William J. Bisignano, Jr. of Medford Township were also sworn-in for their new terms.

Evesham Police release sketch of man who exposed himself to teenage girls on Dec. 30

This week the Evesham Township Police Department released a sketch of a man suspected of exposing his naked body to two teenage girls on Dec. 30. Police describe the suspect as a “chubby” male late, 30’s to early 40’s age range, “clean shaven” with a faded style haircut. If anyone witnessed this incident or has information on the identity of this suspect they are asked to contact the Evesham Police Department.

Evesham Police seek information on suspect who exposed genitals to woman on Jan. 4

In another incident this week, the Evesham Police were dispatched to a residence in the unit block of Woodlake Drive for a male standing on a women’s patio, exposing himself. Police say the suspect was described as tall and slender, and pale skinned. If anyone has information on the identity of this suspect they are asked to contact the Evesham Police Department.

Burlington County once again offers free Christmas tree recycling

Burlington County is once again offering free Christmas tree recycling to county residents. The county says ‘Treecycling’ offers both financial and environmental benefits to residents and the county as a whole. To be eligible for free disposal, residents or municipalities should bring the trees to the Resource Recovery Complex in Florence and Mansfield.
