Center for the Arts In Southern New Jersey to hold Burlington County High School student exhibit

The work from talented young artists in Burlington County will be displayed in January.

The Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey is presenting its Burlington County High School Student Exhibit from Jan. 9 through Jan. 30.

The exhibit features the work of young up-and-coming artists for the enjoyment of their families, friends, teachers and the public.

This year’s exhibits features work from students at high schools such Cherokee, Lenape, Seneca, Shawnee, Cinnaminson, Moorestown Pemberton and Hampton Academy.

In the past exhibits have included 3D collages, mosaics, ceramic pieces, as well as works in charcoal, marker and colored pencil, acrylic, water color pen and ink, oils and pastels.

The historic house that the Center for the Arts calls home is located on the grounds of the Indian Spring Golf Course at 123 South Elmwood Road in Marlton.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday evenings, 7 to 9 p.m.

This exhibit is free and open to the public.

A free reception for the exhibit also open to the public will also be held on Thursday, Jan. 19 from 7 to 9 p.m.
