Evesham Police arrest suspected shoplifters in stolen vehicle

Officers eventually found a stolen minivan that was occupied by the suspects and loaded with stolen merchandise.

The following information comes from the Evesham Township Police Department:

On Dec. 18 at 9:24 p.m., Evesham Police officers responded to the Kohl’s Store, 301 W. Route 70 for a report of a store employee who witnessed a group of subjects running through the parking lot and loading unpaid merchandise into a minivan. A check of the registration by responding officers determined that the vehicle was stolen out of Philadelphia.

The vehicle fled prior to officer’s arrival. While officers were checking the area for the vehicle, Loss Prevention officers from the Walmart, 150 E. Route 70 reported a shoplifting had just occurred in their store and the suspects were running to a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers already in the area located the stolen minivan that was occupied by the suspects and loaded with stolen merchandise.
