Police say prostitute claims man punched her in dispute over alloted time in hotel room

The male suspect denied being involved in any sexual acts with the victim and denied striking her.

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:

At 2:18 a.m. on Dec. 15, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Crawford Place for a disturbance.

Police say a female victim reported that she was a prostitute and she got into a dispute with a customer who overstayed his allotted time in her room.

According to police, the female said that her customer subsequently punched her.

Police say the male suspect denied being involved in any sexual acts with the victim and denied striking her.

According to police the victim declined pursuing a complaint for simple assault.
