Evesham Police recognize Ofc. Sean Dolphin for recent life saving actions

Dolphin recently administered nasal narcan to revive a victim who overdosed on heroin. The victim was then taken to a local hospital.

According to the Evesham Township Police Department, Ofc. Sean Dolphin has been a member of the Evesham Police Department for 16 years. Police sayDolphin is being recognized for his investigative skills, life saving actions and commitment to making the township a safer place.

According to police, Dolphin recenlty responded to a fight in progress involving a subject he knew from past interactions.

The suspect fled prior to police arrival, but being familiar with the suspect, Dolphin’s investigation led him to a residence where the suspect was located and was found to have an unresponsive and not breathing passenger in his vehicle who had overdosed on heroin.

Dolphin quickly administered nasal narcan and revived the victim, who was then taken by the Evesham Rescue squad and paramedics to a local hospital for further medical treatment.

After being released from the hospital, the male was subsequently charged with possession of heroin.
