Raymond J. Govito, a 64-year-old of Dagsboro, DE, formerly of Moorestown, passed away on Friday, Dec. 9, after a valiant battle with cancer.
He was the loving husband of Katherine “Kay” Pittman Govito, and the father of Ryan J. Govito and David “Rusty” Govito (predeceased). He is survived by his brothers Frederick (Barbara) and Michael (Suzanne), his sister, Alicia Smith and brother-in-law, Tom Pittman Jr. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Govito enjoyed surf fishing and especially the companionship of his dogs.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Moorestown on Saturday Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. An interment will be held privately.
