Santa Claus to ride throughout Mt. Laurel on fire engine on Dec. 17

Starting at 9 a.m. on Dec. 17, Santa will be out in Mt. Laurel on something bright and red, but it won’t be a sleigh.

The Mt. Laurel Fire Department says Santa Claus is coming to town soon.

Santa will be driven around town to greet residents on a Mt. Laurel Fire Department fire engine starting at 9 a.m. on Dec. 17, traveling throughout the community.

The department says Santa’s visit is a great way to welcome the festive holiday season.

This event is meant to provide an opportunity for the whole family to celebrate the holidays and the traditions enjoyed at this time of year.

The Mt. Laurel Fire Department wishes residents a healthy, safe and happy holiday season, and would also like to acknowledge and express gratitude to residents for their continued support.

Children are reminded not to chase Santa and the fire engine, or run into the street. Listen for the sirens and holiday music.

A rain/snow date for the event is set for the following day on Dec. 18.
