Fountain Woods Elementary School aid wins MissionOne employee of the year

Terri Sever has been with MissionOne since 2012.

Fountain Woods Elementary School support aid Terri Sever was recognized as the MissionOne employee of the year. The school received a $500 grant in Sever’s honor.

Terri Sever of the Burlington Township School District, an outsource employee with MissionOne, won the MissionOne employee of the year award. Sever was honored at the Fountain Woods Elementary School on Nov. 16.

MissionOne is a leader in the field of educational staffing and management. It enhances the qualify of student support by providing highly skilled paraprofessional, clerical and other non-certified personal to school districts.

MissionOne Manager Daina Norman, who nominated Sever, presented her with a gift from MissionOne at the recognition ceremony. Sever is a support aid at Fountain Woods Elementary School.

Sever has been with MissionOne since 2012 and had previously worked as a paraprofessional for Burlington Township for 15 years.

“I was shocked when I got the news of receiving this award,” Sever said. “I felt honored and privileged to be acknowledged in this way for doing a job that I enjoy so much.”

The school received a $500 grant because of Sever’s win. The grand will be used for the continuing education of the students. Sever says that these awards bring to the forefront how important it is to have caring people working together for the good of the students.

“Fountain Woods School is like a second family and there are many great staff members in the building,” Sever said. “I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work in such a great school.”
