Educator of the Year voting is open at Palmyra High School and Charles Street School

Voting will end this Friday, Dec. 2

The New Jersey Department of Education has announced the application process for the 2016–17 Governor’s Educator of the Year Program.

The district is encouraging the school community and faculty to honor our teacher and one educational service professional at Palmyra High School as well as one teacher and one educational services professional at Charles Street School for this prestigious honor.

The district will form a committee to review and select the candidate. Recipients of this award at the school level will then have the opportunity to compete for recognition at the county, state and national levels.

Nominations can be dropped off at the main office of the school between Nov. 28 and Dec. 2 or emailed to dcecchini@palmyra.k12.nj.us for Palmyra High School and smason@palmyra.k12.nj.us for Charles Street School.
