Burlington County Sheriff announces last paper shredding event of 2016

The event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex in Mansfield.

Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield has announced that the final paper shredding event of 2016 will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex located at 22,000 Burlington-Columbus Road in Mansfield.

“We had an incredible turn-out at all paper shredding events throughout the course of this year,” Stanfield said. “This will be the final paper shredding event this year. We are urging residents to get out and securely dispose of their confidential documents before the New Year.”

Stanfield said volunteers will be on hand to unload confidential files, so visitors will not need to leave the warmth of their vehicles.

Already-shredded paper can also be recycled at this event.

This free event is for Burlington County residents only. ID is required. No businesses are allowed. For more information call (609) 499–1001 weekdays or email recycle@co.burlington.nj.us.
