What’s open and closed on Thanksgiving in Cherry Hill?

Nearly all places of business are closed in the township today, but the Katz JCC Health and Wellness Center and Cherry Hill Mall will have some limited open hours today.

With people across the country celebrating Thanksgiving today, many places of business are closed. However, some places, especially local stores and shopping centers, have modified hours ahead of Black Friday. Check out what is opened and closed around Cherry Hill Township today:

Post offices: All post offices are closed today. There is no mail delivery. Post offices are open on Friday and mail will be delivered that day.

Township offices: The Cherry Hill Township Municipal Building is closed both Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The municipal building will re-open on Monday. Trash routes for both Thursday and Friday will be collected on Friday.

Cherry Hill Public Library: The library is closed in observance of Thanksgiving today. The library is also beginning its winter hours this weekend and will be closed on Sunday.

Cherry Hill Public Schools: All Cherry Hill Public Schools are closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving break. Schools will re-open on Monday.

Katz JCC: Only the Katz JCC’s Health and Wellness facility will be open today, all other departments and offices will be closed. Health and Wellness will only be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Banks: Nearly all area banks, including Bank of America, PNC Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and TD Bank, are closed today.

Cherry Hill Mall: The mall will be closed early in the day on Thanksgiving before opening its doors from 6 p.m. to midnight. The mall will open early for Black Friday at 6 a.m. and will remain open through 10 p.m. Hours for restaurants and department stores may vary.
