More than $11,000 in tools stolen from trucks at Home Depot in latest Mt Laurel Police Report

Other reports include marijuana arrests and a man suspected of exposing his genitalia to a resident

Between Nov. 8 and Nov. 14, three customers of The Home Depot on Nixon Drive had tools stolen from their work trucks that were parked in the parking lot. In total over $11,000 in tools were stolen. Officers were able to identify a suspect and the vehicle he was operating. At 8:05 a.m. on Nov. 15 an officer located the suspect in his vehicle parked on Lenola Road behind the Shoprite on Nixon Drive. A male, age 58, Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary, three counts of theft, and possession of crack cocaine. Bail was set at $35,000 with no 10 percent option and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.

At 1:41 a.m. on Nov 16, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near I295. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 25, of Trenton. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.

At 10:11 p.m. on Nov. 16, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near I295. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 20, of Burlington. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.

At 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 12, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Springville School for burglar alarm activation. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect entered the school through an unlocked roof hatch. Nothing was reported stolen.

At 4:14 p.m. on Nov. 15, Mt. Laurel Police responded to TJ Maxx on Centerton Road for a shoplifting in progress. A responding officer located the suspect vehicle on Marne Highway at Young Avenue. He attempted to stop the vehicle but the suspects refused to stop and instead drove back to TJ Maxx. One of the suspects exited the car and took the $980 worth of coats they had stolen back into the store. Officers arrested a female, age 49, of Willingboro and a female, age 52, of Cinnaminson. The first female was charged with eluding police and shoplifting. The second female was charged with shoplifting. Both were released pending a court hearing.

On Nov. 14, an employee of Applebee’s restaurant on the 1100 block of Route 73 reported that orders for food to go were purchased with fraudulent credit cards.

At 3:57 p.m. on Nov. 13, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 near I295. During the stop officers arrested a female, age 61, of Mantua. She was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.

At 2:14 p.m. on Nov. 13, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a residence on Woodlark Drive for a disturbance. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle driving erratically on Woodlark Drive and arrested a male, age 23, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with driving under the influence and released pending a court hearing.

A resident of the 1800 block of Augusta Circle reported that at 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 11 she noticed the motion activated lights on the back of her residence go on. She looked out on her porch and saw a man standing there exposing his genitalia. He ran off when she called for her husband. The suspect was described as a male, 6 feet tall, curly blond hair, with a mustache, in his late 20s.
