American legal clerk and environmental activist Erin Brockovich is helping to investigate allegations regarding Moorestown’s contaminated water supply. Resident Kati Angelini, who recently ran for a seat on Town Council but was not elected, had been reaching out to the famous legal secretary for months to seek her help.

Councilwoman Napolitano Attends Sustainable Jersey Annual Luncheon

National Signing Day at MHS

National Signing Day at Moorestown High School took place on Wednesday. Nov. 16, and 21 seniors of the Class of 2017 were signed to play collegiate athletics. Out of the students who signed, nine will go on to play Division I athletics, while 12 will compete at Division III schools.

Dan Lieb Presented Shipwrecks Off the Jersey Coast

Divers and historians have known for years what lies beneath the dark waters off New Jersey’s Atlantic Coast. On Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m., residents were able to learn the secrets buried at sea when Dan Lieb, president of the New Jersey Historical Divers Association, presented Shipwrecks Off the Jersey Coast.

Volunteer Center of Burlington County Seeks Community Service Award Nominations

The Volunteer Center of Burlington County announced last week that it is once again seeking nominees for its prestigious Lloyd Ritter Community Service Award. The public is encouraged to submit the names of individuals who deserve to be honored because of their outstanding records of community service and volunteerism. The Center is prepared to honor as many as three deserving individuals at its annual awards dinner scheduled for spring 2017.The nomination form can be accessed at www.volunteercenterburlingtoncounty.org.
