Shamong Township is proud to announce the refurbished ambulance has arrived for Indian Mills Volunteer EMS Squad. The IMVFC and Shamong Township Committee worked together to secure a lower cost alternative to purchasing a brand new ambulance. Instead of spending over $220,000 for a new ambulance, the Township and IMVFC were able to secure a new truck chasis and mount a refurbished, used

ambulance box for $105,000 saving the taxpayers over 50 percent of costs. This innovative thinking will provide the tools to serve our community for many years to come at a fraction of the original projected costs.

Also, the Shamong Township Committee is happy to announce the new playground equipment has been installed at the Dingletown Recreation Complex. This new playground equipment replaces the 30-year-old equipment previously in this location. Additionally the Tennis Courts at both the Dingletown and Stony

Creek Recreation Complex have been resurfaced. This was all made possible with the funding secured by township staff through Burlington County Municipal Park Grant funds, costing Shamong Township residents $0!
