Opioid overdose; pumpkin thrown against vehicle, in recent Mt. Laurel Police Report

Other reports include lawnmower and iPhone thefts.

At 4:13 p.m. on Nov. 6, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the parking lot of a diner on the 1100 block of Route 73 for the report of an unconscious female in a vehicle. Officers located a 23-year-old female suffering from a suspected opioid overdose. Virtua Paramedics administered Narcan and reversed the overdose. She was transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.

A resident on Knighton Lane reported that a pumpkin was thrown against their vehicle causing damage. The incident occurred during the early morning hours of Oct. 31.

A member of Giant Fitness, 1315 Route 73, reported that his wallet was stolen after he accidentally dropped it on the floor while he was exercising. The theft occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Nov. 9.

During the overnight hours of Nov. 7 into Nov. 8, the Friendly’s restaurant at 3047 Route 38 was burglarized. An unknown amount of cash was stolen from an office. Entry into the business was gained by forcing open a rear door and an interior office door.

A member of Giant Fitness, 1315 Route 73, reported that someone forced open a locker in the men’s locker room and stole his wallet. The theft occurred between 2:15 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 8.

A resident on the 600 block of South Church Street reported that a Craftsman riding lawn mower was stolen from their front yard during the early morning hours of Nov. 7. The mower was for sale and was not secured by any locking device.

At 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 5, Mt. Laurel Police stopped a suspicious person walking on Arbor Way at Church Road. During the stop officers arrested a female age 27, of Evesham, for an outstanding warrant. She was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released after satisfying her warrant.

During the overnight hours of Nov. 4 into Nov. 5, someone burglarized two businesses in the Masonville Square Shopping Center on the 200 block of Masonville Road. Someone gained entry to Angelo’s II Pizzeria and Gel Nail Salon by prying open the back doors of both businesses. Money was stolen.

An employee from a business at 100 Century Parkway reported her iPhone 6 was stolen from her desk between 10:15 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. on Nov. 4.
