“The Mummers” are featured at the Haddon Fortnightly fall fundraiser

At this year’s Annual Fall Fundraiser, ”Happy Days Are Here Again.” The General Club of the Haddon Fortnightly is delighted to present “The Mummers” who will be performing at the club’s luncheon to be held on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Tavistock Country Club, 100 Tavistock Lane in Haddonfield.

Four members from the Gloucester City String Band will be performing their popular and “snappy” Philadelphia style music for everyone’s enjoyment. In addition to the fun-filled music and strutting of the Mummers, the exciting afternoon will include 25 lovely Chinese Auction Baskets, a 50–50 raffle and a silent auction.

The menu for the delicious luncheon, all creations of Tavistock’s popular chef, includes chicken marsala for the main course and lemon chiffon pie for dessert. Any special diet requests should be made when making your reservation. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to put on your strutting’ shoes and come strut with us. The proceeds from this club’s major fundraiser will help support the maintenance of the Historic Haddon Fortnightly Clubhouse and other various local charities.
