Gloucester Township voters to choose four members to the Board of Education on Nov.

Gloucester Township voters to choose four members to the Board of Education on Nov. 8; Winslow Township voters to choose three Board of Education members

Polls will be open across Gloucester Township on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voting for the next president of the United States isn’t the only task for Gloucester Township residents this Election Day. Voters will also get to vote for one member of the House of Representatives, two members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, one Black Horse Pike Regional Board of Education member and three Gloucester Township Board of Education members on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

In the Black Horse Pike Regional Board of Education election, Kevin A. McElroy is running against Charles W. Pildis, II.

In the Gloucester Township Board of Education election, 13 candidates are vying for three, three-year terms. Incumbents Ellen F. Reese and Linda K. Gilch are running for re-election. The other 11 candidates running for a seat include Tracey Lynch, Joseph Angeloni, Martha C. Canas, Regina Caristo, Terri Fretz, Barbara Lamaina, Jennifer O’Donnell, Brian Reagan, Donna Gualtieri, William M. Broadbent and George V. Hill, III.

In addition to the local election, residents will cast their vote for president of the United States, the New Jersey District 1 member of the House of Representatives and two Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholder candidates. There are also two statewide referendum questions this year. The first is, “Do you approve amending the constitution to permit casino gambling in two additional counties in this state?” The second is, “Do you approve amending the constitution to dedicate all revenue from the state motor fuels tax and petroleum products gross receipts tax to the Transportation Trust Fund?”

In Winslow Township, residents will also elect three Winslow Township Board of Education members.

In the Winslow Township Board of Education election, five candidates are vying for three, three-year terms. Incumbents Larry Blake, Julie A. Peterson and Hasson Wilcox are running for re-election. The other two candidates running for a seat include John M. Shaw, Jr. and Caron Charney.
