The following reports are on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:
–At 12:12 p.m. on Oct. 27, Mt. Laurel Police were dispatched to TD Bank, 6000 Atrium Way, for the report of approximately 15 protesters in the building lobby.
The investigation revealed that the organization Food and Water Watch was protesting TD Bank’s financial involvement with the Dakota Access Pipeline.
A majority of the protesters complied with police when they were advised to leave the building.
Four protesters remained sitting on the floor of the lobby and refused to leave. After failing to comply with numerous requests to leave the four protesters were arrested. They were charged with defiant trespassing and released pending a court hearing. The arrestees were: A female, age 75, of East Brunswick, a female, age 69, of Somerset, a male, age 67, of Bloomfield and a female, age 69, of Brick.

–At 2:52 a.m. on Oct. 27, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 near Larchmont Boulevard. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 36, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
–A victim reported jewelry and credit cards were stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at Lifetime Fitness, 3939 Church Road, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Oct. 26.
–A black 2015 Kawasaki ZX11 motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot of the 2400 block of Larchmont Place between Oct. 24 and Oct. 26.
–Oct. 25 and Oct. 26, approximately $700 was stolen from an office at the Friendly’s Restaurant on Route 38 near Ark Road.
–A red and black 2006 Suzuki 600 motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot of the 4200 block of Aberdeen Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 23.
–At 11:35 p.m. on Oct. 22, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 near Midlantic Drive. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 23, of Bethlehem, Pa. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
–At 11:20 p.m. on Oct. 21, Mt. Laurel Police conducted an investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a hotel on Fellowship Road. During the investigation officers observed a marijuana cigarette behind the driver’s ear. Officers arrested a male, age 24, of Cherry Hill. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.
–At 4:26 p.m. on Oct. 21, a victim reported to police that on the previous day at approximately 8 p.m. he was stopped at the traffic light on Hainesport Road at Mt. Laurel Road.
–A male in a white puck-up truck pulled up next to him and began yelling at the victim concerning his cell phone usage while driving. The suspect and victim pulled off the roadway into a parking lot on the 400 block of Mt. Laurel Road. The two exited their vehicles and began to argue. The suspect then pointed what appeared to be a gun at the victim and shot him with a pellet that burst on the victim’s neck. The victim then experienced a burning sensation to his eyes and exposed skin. The suspect then drove off. The suspect was only described as a white male not wearing a shirt. It is suspected that the victim was shot with a pepper ball gun.
–At 2:28 p.m. on Oct. 21, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near Clover Road. During the stop officers arrested a female, age 24, of Philadelphia. She was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.
–A guest at a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 reported someone cut off and stole the catalytic converter from his vehicle. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 18 and Oct. 19.
–A resident of the 100 block of Buckingham Way reported that a laptop computer delivered to his residence by UPS at 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 12 was stolen from his front porch before he arrived home at 5 p.m.
–At 11 p.m. on Oct. 18, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Clover Road to check on the well being of a guest. As a result of the investigation officers arrested four subjects for various offenses. A female, age 27, of Manchester Township was arrested for an outstanding warrant and released after satisfying the warrant. A female, age 36, of Clementon was charged with engaging in prostitution, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of crack cocaine. She was released pending a court hearing. A female, age 32, of Pine Hill, NJ was charged with possession of hypodermic needles and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing. A female, age 29, of Pine Hill, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing. A male, age 52, of Westmont, was charged with engaging in prostitution and released pending a court hearing.
–At 3:20 p.m. on Oct. 18, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the 500 block of South Brentwood Drive for a residential burglary in progress. A 12-year-old resident reported that she was home alone when she heard a knock at the front door and the doorbell rang. She did not answer the door. A short time later a man broke the rear sliding glass door with a landscaping brick and attempted to enter the house. The girl screamed and the suspect fled without entering the house. While looking for the suspect in the neighborhood officers discovered another residence on the 500 block had been burglarized. The rear sliding glass door of that house had also been broken and entry was gained. The residents of the second house were not home at the time of the break in.
–A resident of the 300 block of Willow Turn reported that during the overnight hours of Oct. 17 into Oct. 18 someone forced their way into his vehicle by breaking a window. The center console of the Jeep Grand Cherokee was removed and taken by the suspect.
–At 6:44 a.m. on Oct. 18, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 for a disturbance. During the investigation officers arrested a male, age 55, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.
–At 12:25 p.m. on Oct. 17, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Larchmont Boulevard near Hainesport Road. During the stop officers arrested a female, age 24, of Mt. Laurel. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of Suboxone. She was released pending a court hearing.
–At 5:35 a.m. on Oct. 17, two vehicles had windows broken and wallets stolen while parked in the Future Fitness parking lot on Hovtech Boulevard. The suspect was operating a black unknown make SUV.
–At approximately 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 16, a victim had a credit card stolen from her purse while shopping at Costco on Centerton Road. Her card was then fraudulently used in another jurisdiction.
–At 11:52 p.m. on Sept. 22, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a disturbance in the Wendy’s parking lot 74 Centerton Road. The investigation revealed that a male victim stated he saw a woman push a shopping cart into a vehicle in the parking lot of Wegman’s. The victim confronted her and took pictures of her license plate. The woman became upset and called an acquaintance for help. The victim went into the store to shop and when he emerged he was followed in his vehicle by another vehicle. That vehicle, driven by the suspect, eventually blocked the victim’s vehicle in by the Wendy’s parking lot. The victim and suspect exited their vehicles. The victim attempted to video record the suspect with his cell phone. During this interaction the suspect grabbed the victim, took his phone and broke it. The victim went to Wendy’s for help and the suspect left the area. The investigation identified the suspect, who later turned himself in to Mt. Laurel Police on Oct. 15. The suspect, a male, age 35, of Delran, was charged with harassment and criminal mischief. He was released pending a court hearing.
–Between Oct. 15 and Oct. 17 an Okada hydraulic (Top 35) jack hammer attachment for an excavator was stolen from a construction site 2020 Briggs Road. The equipment, valued at $5,000 was painted green and owned by Sunbelt Rentals.
