Letter to the Editor: Greg Adams

A couple from town wrote a letter, published in the Wednesday, Oct. 26 edition of The Moorestown Sun, saying how their “hearts sank” at seeing all of the Trump signs around town. They can’t help but wonder whether we’re racists, xenophobes, homophobes, etc. I may be able to offer them some comfort.

I volunteer for the Trump campaign, so I speak with a lot of his supporters. Most of us never wanted Trump for president. You could almost say that our hearts sank when we learned that we had to choose between this vain fool on the one hand and the matriarch of the Clinton Crime Family on the other.

Nobody has any idea what The Donald will do once he’s elected, least of all Donald.

Clinton, on the other hand, would appoint justices who have no respect for the Constitution that makes our government the best in the world. She’d flood the country with poor immigrants who will reliably vote leftist. She’d nullify our Bill of Rights, starting with freedom of speech, freedom of religion and our right to bear arms.

Our choices are so dismal that one writer compared this election to a contest between Ronald McDonald and Lucrezia Borgia. No matter who wins, the American people will lose.

By our lights, Trump is the lesser evil. I promise we aren’t racists or xenophobes.
