Springdale Road closure announced beginning Oct. 24

The road will be closed northbound Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 24. The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks.

Motorists on Springdale Road northbound will have to find another way to reach their destination beginning next Monday.

On or about Oct. 24, Springdale Road will be closed in the northbound direction from Evesham Road to Wilderness Drive on Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to about 3:30 p.m. Two-way traffic will be open on the road outside of those hours. The closure is expected to last about three weeks.

Southbound traffic will be shifted over near Wilderness Drive, using the northbound lane to move southbound around the construction through this area. Cunningham Lane and Chateau Drive will be closed to all traffic and Spring Road and Morris Drive will have southbound access only with police on location to ensure proper turning.

Cherry Hill Police have announced the following detours during the construction period:

  • Detours will be set on Evesham Road directing northbound traffic to use Cropwell Road or Haddonfield-Berlin Road to Kresson Road.
  • Traffic from within the Woodcrest development wishing to go north on Springdale will be detoured onto Heartwood Drive, to the drivers’ choice of either Lark Lane or Kresson Road.
  • Springdale Road traffic between Kresson Road and Wilderness Drive will remain open in both directions at all times.
  • The Holly Ravine and ShopRite centers will be open with full access to and from Evesham Road. However, access to Springdale Road at the traffic signal will be restricted to southbound only.
