The West Berlin Lions Club is having ts first Inaugural Halloween Party as a fundraiser for its causes, featuring dancing, dinner and drinks for all girls, guys and ghouls.

It’s almost that time of year when spooky things start to occur and are celebrated.
When you hear things that go bump in the night, it won’t be anything scary, but instead it will be fun, as the West Berlin Lions Club gets ready to boogie down with its inaugural Halloween Party. The Halloween Party will be on Friday, Oct. 28 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Antony & Cleopatra Caterers in Williamstown, raising money for the Lions Club community projects.
“Come out to support our causes and have fun,” West Berlin Lions Club President Linda Kogan said.
The West Berlin Lions Club is only 18 months old and decided to have the Halloween Party as one of its first big fundraisers. It’s a fun way to raise money for good causes, Kogan said.
The night will be filled with music, dancing and conversation. The party will have an open bar, buffet, 50/50, Chinese auction and cash prizes for Halloween costumes. Costumes are optional, but encouraged to win prizes.
Music will feature the latest hits and favorites to get you up and dancing on your feet. The music will be DJed by Dancing DJ.
The buffet will feature many delicious foods for dancing guys, girls and ghouls. Featured foods include pasta rosa, sliced beef, lemon pepper chicken, red bliss oven roasted potatoes, veggies and salad. There will also be coffee and desserts.
Tickets are $35 a person. Those attending must be 21 and older. Antony & Cleopatra Caterers is located at 2379 S. Black Horse Pike in Williamstown. For more information on the West Berlin Lions Halloween Party, call Anita’s Fine Jewelry at (856) 753–9077.
“We hope everyone has a good time, and if it goes well we’ll do it again next year,” Kogan said.
All proceeds benefit the West Berlin Lions Club, which provides support to local and regional projects and programs, as well as sight-related causes and individuals in need. Lions Club member Anita Krafcigs said the club plans to use part of the proceeds for those in need around Christmas time.
“The Lions are heavily involved in sight, from helping fund seeing-eye dogs to programs for blind children. We’re also involved with the local community; we give to the food banks and charity organizations,” Kogan said. “Our motto is ‘We Serve;’ where there is a need, there is a Lion.”
