Tabernacle Historical Society meeting is Oct. 13 with guest speaker

The Tabernacle Historical Society will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center on Hawkin Road. After the business portion of the meeting is concluded, there will be a presentation on the history of campaign buttons in American presidential campaigns. Society member, Ann Franzen, will give the talk featuring her collection of campaign buttons and other political advertising pieces from the past. Following the presentation refreshments will be served. The public is invited to attend.
