The MOMS Club of Medford has worked together with the Ceramic Barn to host a rock painting event on Oct. 22 from noon to 2 p.m. to help local children and families paint rocks.
There is a local group called Shamong Medford Rocks, started by Colleen McCaffrey, and it is helping to spread the word about this great group.

The idea is to get the kids outside finding rocks and hiding rocks that they have painted. It helps foster a sense of community locally and inspire creativity in the children. The rocks will be painted with the hashtag #shamongrocks or #medfordrocks and parents can snap photos of the rocks kids have found and post them on the group’s Facebook page.
