Pregnancy Expo on Oct. 9 to raise money for March of Dimes

The locally owned Advocare Ob Gyn practice is having its inaugural Prego Expo to benefit the March of Dimes and to hold a diaper drive for babies in need.

The event will be held at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees on Oct. 9 from noon to 3 p.m.

There will be a $5 entrance fee, which will be donated to the March of Dimes.

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

New and expectant parents can expect to meet over 30 vendors. Vendors include doulas, breastfeeding and lactation specialists, childbirth educators, La Leche League, photographers, bakeries, cord blood collection, pediatricians, fertility specialists, chiropractors, intimacy experts, prenatal and infant massage, post-partum therapists,3D/4D/HD ultrasound imaging and raffles and more.

The Voorhees Police Department will also be conducting car seat inspection checks.

The event is sponsored by Advocare Premier Ob Gyn and co-sponsored by Chiropractic Family Practice, PC and DVIF&G Delaware Valley Institute of Fertility & Genetics.
