The Samaritan Center for Grief Support, a division of Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, will host a support group for young adults grieving the loss of a spouse or partner.

Called “Early Endings,” the group will start Monday, Oct. 3, and run weekly through Nov. 21.

Facilitated by Samaritan grief counselors, the group will meet at the organization’s headquarters at 5 Eves Drive in Marlton. Total cost for the eight-week group is $40. Registration is required: call (800) 596–8550.

“Younger adults face different challenges and issues than older people, when their partner dies,” said Kimberly Rumaker, MSS, LCSW, manager of the Samaritan Center for Grief Support. “They may experience the loss of many hopes and dream for their future. They may have young children they must raise and help deal with the loss. This group will help address the unique needs of younger men and women who are experiencing one of life’s most painful passages.”

Samaritan offers a wide range of other support groups, as well. For complete listings, visit www.SamaritanNJ.org.
