Where did the summer go? School is open again ant the streets are full of yellow school buses. In Medford Lakes, be sure to watch out for the children who walk or bike to school daily.

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the American Library Association and libraries nationwide join together to remind parents, caregivers and students that signing up for a library card is the first step towards academic achievement and lifelong learning. A public library card is a ticket to free educational resources and activities such as homework help, digital workshops for all-ages, STEAM programs/activities, book clubs, family storytimes and game nights.

Fall has brought the return of our library reading raffles and the wonderful prizes offered to those busy readers. There were two backpacks full of school supplies for the children, and there is a basket of office supplies with a gift certificate sponsored by Lakes Office Supply.
