The kickoff meeting of the Library Book Club’s 2016–2017 reading year begins Monday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. The featured novel is “The Lacuna” by Barbara Kingsolver, an “impassioned” work of historical fiction set in Mexico and the United States beginning in the 1930s.
