There will be a run and walk through the Willowdale neighborhood. Following the run, there will be food, music, giveaways and more.
The Willowdale Swim Club will hold its first Halloween Hustle 5K on Sunday, Oct. 16 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the swim club.
The Halloween Hustle 5K is a run and walk traveling through the beautiful neighborhood of Willowdale on a USATF certified course. The race will start at 8:30 a.m. at 1803 Ticonderoga Lane and finish at the swim club. Shirts will be provided to all pre-registered participants and as supplies last on race day. The event is stroller friendly.
There will be awards handed out to the top male and female in first, second and third place overall. The top-3 finishers in 10 different age groups will also receive awards. Participants are invited to dress up as there will also be a costume contest.
Following the race, there will be food, music, giveaways and more. Award winners will be announced at this time.
Participants are strongly encouraged to pre-register at https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/CherryHill/HalloweenHustle5kRunWalk. The cost is $25 per person before Oct. 15. Those who aren’t planning to run are asked to consider volunteering, making a donation or sponsoring through a local business.
