Many people across Cherry Hill Township will be celebrating the conclusion of summer today on Labor Day. The holiday also means there are a number of closures and modified hours for government offices and businesses across town. Here’s a short rundown of what’s open and closed today”

Post offices: All post offices are closed in observance of Labor Day. There is also no mail delivery today.

Township offices: The Cherry Hill Township Municipal Building is closed today. It will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. There is also no trash collection today. Monday trash routes will be collected on Tuesday. There are no other changes to the schedule.

Cherry Hill Public Library: The library is closed today and will re-open at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Cherry Hill Public Schools: All schools are closed to both students and teachers today for the holiday. Tuesday will be the first day of school for students in all grade levels in Cherry Hill. Elementary school students will have early dismissal, while middle and high school students have a full day of school.

Katz JCC: Health and wellness at the Katz JCC will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Labor Day.

Banks: Many banks, including PNC Bank, Bank of American and TD Bank are closed on Labor Day.
