New projects set to begin in Cherry Hill Road Maintenance Program

Improvement projects on five different roads are slated to begin this week and next week.

New projects are slated to begin over the new two weeks as part of the Cherry Hill Township’s 2016 Road Maintenance Program.

This week, work is scheduled to begin on Garwood Place from Astor Drive to the terminus, Granville Road from Randle Drive to East Gate Drive and Longfellow Drive from Burnt Mill Road to Eaton Way.

Around, Tuesday, Sept. 6, projects will commence on two other roads. Work will begin on Ashley Court from Chaucer Place to Longfellow Drive and Kipling Road from Walt Whitman Boulevard to Longfellow Drive.

Improvements on the roads include a complete mill and overlay of the road surface and isolated concrete repairs.

Trash collection and bus pickups should not be affected. Residents will be notified if parking is affected for any period of time.
