Friends of Burlington County Library Host Used Books/Media Sale
The Friends of the Library invite the community to stop by their September used books and media sale at the Burlington County Library in Westampton to stock up on some fall bargains.
The four-day sale will run from Thursday, Sept. 8 to Sunday, Sept. 11, and will feature more than 7,500 books organized by category, as well as DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and more. Swing by the library’s meeting room on these scheduled sale dates:
- Thursday, Sept. 8 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 11 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In addition, a preview sale offered to Friends members only will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Become a Friends member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family or $10 per senior or senior family.
Most books will cost just 50 cents to $1 each, the majority of which will be available for the first time. Look for a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction titles, children’s books and books about cooking, business, hobbies, crafts, biographies, music, self-help, art, travel, history, religion, science fiction, science and math and more. There also will be a nice selection of specially priced coffee table, art and oversized books available.
Shoppers will also find a variety of music CDs for $1 each, as well DVD movies and more than 400 audiobooks for $2 each.
Those who want to carry their bargains home in style can purchase Friends logo tote bags for just $10 each. As a bonus, each bag comes with a $2 discount toward all book and media sales.
Also, the first 300 shoppers who purchase items at the September sale will receive $1 coupons that may be applied toward the Friends’ book/media sale in that will run Thursday, Nov. 3 to Sunday, Nov. 6.
