Sean Killion reflects on trip to 1992 Olympics, swimming career

It’s been almost 25 years since Sean Killion swam in the Summer Olympics for the United States, but he still remembers the experience vividly. As the 2016 Summer Olympics wrapped up, Killion reflected on what it meant to be an Olympian and how he got his swimming career started as a kid in Cherry Hill.

Cherry Hill man one of 40 charged in New Jersey child pornography bust

New Jersey State Police and other law enforcement agencies announced charges have been brought against 40 New Jersey men for possession of child pornography after a six-month investigation. One of those men was a Cherry Hill resident. Michael Kushner, 42, was charged with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Cherry Hill Police searching for suspect in credit card fraud investigation

Cherry Hill Police released a surveillance photo last week of a man who is considered a suspect in an ongoing credit card fraud investigation. The man was pictured leaving the Home Depot store at the Garden State Park shopping center. Anyone with information on the man in the photo is asked to contact Cherry Hill Police.

Cherry Hill East girls’ tennis ready to defend sectional title

Last season, the Cherry Hill East girls’ tennis team climbed back on top of the South Jersey Group IV mountain, defeating Lenape High School to win their second sectional championship in three years. This year, Cherry Hill East has its eyes set on repeating as sectional champions and making a run deep into the state playoffs.

New road closure announced as part of Springdale Road reconstruction

A new road closure took effect last Wednesday as the reconstruction of Springdale Road continues. Spring Road at Springdale Road will be closed for the next two weeks, through approximately Aug. 31. Residents living in the Springbrook section of Cherry Hill can access their neighborhood through Chateau Drive.
