Haddonfield Police Reports for Aug. 4 to Aug. 16

The following reports are on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

The Haddonfield Police Department Detective Bureau announced the arrest of a 22-year-old male of Audubon for numerous bicycle thefts throughout the borough. Through shared information with other law enforcement agencies, Haddonfield Detectives were able to develop the suspect’s information and successfully obtain a full confession for the bicycle thefts. He was charged and transported to the Camden County Jail. Haddonfield resident bicycles included one on Aug. 14, a red Elektra beach cruiser was taken from the first block of Mount Vernon Avenue and one on Aug. 11, a black and silver Trek bicycle from the 100 block of Windsor avenue.

On Aug. 16, a caller from the 100 block of Warwick Avenue reported that sometime overnight an unknown person(s) pulled down her lamppost, gate and a section of her fence. A detective was notified.

On Aug. 15, a victim of the 100 block of Washington Avenue responded to headquarters to report the theft of a photo scanner. The victim said the scanner was delivered via FedEx to the residence on Aug. 2.

On Aug. 15, a resident of the first block of Estaugh Avenue reported the theft of a purse and wallet from an unsecured vehicle in the driveway that occurred sometime overnight.

On Aug. 12, a victim of the 100 block of Prospect Road reported sometime between Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. and Aug. 12, his five-gallon glass jar containing approximately $1,500 in change was emptied and a glass bowl was taken from the apartment. There were no signs of forced entry.

On Aug. 12, a victim of the 800 block of Grove Street returned home and found glass in the rear door smashed out, believed to have occurred sometime between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Aug. 12. The door was closed, but unlocked and the bedrooms were ransacked. The scene was processed.

On Aug. 11, a complainant responded to police headquarters to report that between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. an unknown actor stole a leaf blower from a job site at the 100 block of Merion Avenue.

On Aug. 11, a juvenile reported that between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 an unknown actor took her unknown make and model pink and white girls cruiser bicycle from a driveway at the 200 block of Redman Avenue. The bicycle was unlocked at the time.

On Aug. 11, a 31-year-old female of West Deptford was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and found to be driving under the influence. The woman was arrested, processed and released to her mother.

On Aug. 7, a home at the 500 block of Narberth Avenue was forcibly entered through a back door. Inside of the home the suspect was startled by the homeowner, at which point the suspect fled into the nearby wooded area. The area was searched by police and a K9, however the suspect was not able to be located. The investigation revealed the suspect had been seen in the area by a neighbor just prior to the burglary, however police were not notified at the time. The suspect was described as a male between 20 to 40 years old, weighing 180 to 190 pounds with a black stubble beard. On Aug. 6, a complainant from the 100 block of Wedgewood Lane reported that sometime over the past week his bicycle had been stolen from the back porch of the residence.

On Aug. 6, a juvenile victim reported that sometime between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. an unknown actor took a grey and blue Fuji absolute bicycle with a black cable locked around the center bar from the side of the residence.

On Aug. 4, a caller from the 600 block of Randor Avenue reported feces was rubbed onto his front door sometime after 8 p.m. the night before.

On Aug. 4, a 30-year-old man of Camden was stopped for speeding and found to be in possession of CDS. He was arrested, processed and released.
