Mosquito spraying scheduled for Cherry Hill Township tonight

Some neighborhoods in Cherry Hill will be sprayed for mosquitos between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.

Some areas of Cherry Hill Township will be sprayed for mosquitos overnight tonight.

The Camden County Mosquito Commission announced it will spray for mosquitos in some Cherry Hill neighborhoods early Thursday morning. Mosquito spraying is scheduled on an as-needed basis based on surveillance efforts.

“Even though our weather has been hot and dry, you should still check your yard for the presence of standing water,” said Camden County Freeholder Jeff Nash, liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission. “Removing standing water where mosquitoes can thrive will protect your yard and your family, and will assist the efforts of the Camden County Mosquito Control Commission.”

Mosquito spraying will take place between midnight and 6 a.m. on the following streets:

· Park Boulevard

· South Harvard Avenue

· South Union Avenue

· South Delaware Avenue

· South Cornell Avenue

· Cherry Hill Boulevard

· Hialeah Drive

· Monmouth Drive

· Suffolk Drive

· Belmont Drive

· Jamaica Drive

· Saratoga Drive

· Garden State Drive

· Tanforan Drive

· Narragansett Drive

· Old Orchard Road

· Lamp Post Lane

· Eagle Lane

· Niamoa Drive

· Split Rock Drive

· Gatehouse Lane

· Candlewyck Way

· Firethorne Road

· Roanoke Road

· Locust Grove Drive

· Waverly Road

· Mimosa Drive

· Collins Drive

· Rye Road

· Stonehedge Road

· Croyden Drive

· Banford Road

· Guilford Road
