Sustainable Cherry Hill hosting Feast in the Field on Sept. 17

This event will take place at the 1895 Organic Farm in Lumberton beginning at 4 p.m.

Sustainable Cherry Hill’s Green Health Task Force will be hosting Feast in the Field on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at 1895 Organic Farm, 303 Landing Street in Lumberton.

Guests are invited to feat in the field of 1895 Organic Farm with the talent of Chef Fred Kellerman of Elements Café offering a four-course, organic and local-grown sunset dinner. Help strengthen and grow public awareness of the work of local farmers while enjoying a delicious meal.

Some of the food at the event will include items from 1895 Organic Farm, mushrooms from Davidson farm, chicken from Griggstown in Princeton, cheese from Valley Shepherd Creamery in Long Valley and oysters from Cap May.

The cost is $60 per person. The event is BYOB and there will be a door prize. The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 18. Seating is limited. To attend, register by Sept. 14 at www.sustainablecherryhill.org.
