Fresh peaches, homemade baked goods and ice cream will be featured at the annual Peach Festival on Friday, August 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Moorestown First United Methodist Church.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, pork roll and cheese sandwiches will be provided. There is no charge, but there will be a donation bag for the food bank.
The Sanctuary Band will present a concert in the courtyard from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Children’s activities will include a giant slide, face painting and games.
The Peach Festival supports local food pantries, and the need for food has reached new highs at three local food pantries: Moorestown Ministerium (St. Matthew Lutheran), Bethel AME and First Baptist. Please contribute to these pantries by bringing a can of food to the Peach Festival.
First United Methodist Church is located at the corner of Pleasant Valley and Camden Avenues. Tickets are $5 per person, $15 per family and free for children under five. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the church office or at the festival.
