The following report is on file with the Evesham Police Department:

On Aug. 28 at 10:43 p.m., The Evesham Police responded to the Canals Bottle Stop, located at 10 West Route 70 for a glass break alarm.

Arriving patrol units observed two subjects, fleeing on foot. As the officers gave chase they observed an older model white or silver vehicle turn the lights on and flee the area towards Main Street. Investigation determined that a front door window was smashed out, and the cash registers were ransacked.
