Cherry Hill native honored after retiring from Lourdes

Barbara Moeller has worked at Lourdes for the past 33 years as the director of yoga teacher training.

Barbara Moeller (second from right) is honored after retiring from Lourdes. She is joined by Senior Vice President of Operations Robert Ruggero, Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer Mark Nessel, and President and Chief Operation Officer Alexander J. Hatala.

Cherry Hill native Barbara Moeller, director of yoga teacher training at Lourdes Institute of Wholistic Studies, recently retired. Moeller worked for Lourdes for 33 years.

“Lourdes was a natural fit for me,” Moeller said. “I especially appreciated the mission and spiritual element of working at Lourdes. I advocate yoga as a “wholistic” modality — encompassing body, mind, and spirit. All that we do at Lourdes honors this same belief. I feel so fortunate to have discovered Lourdes and its philosophy of wellness.”

Moeller and her husband will be moving to St Petersburg, Fla., where she intends to continue teaching yoga while enjoying the warmer weather.
