Weekly Roundup: Cherry Hill resident tears up American Ninja Warrior course, actors prepare to take the stage in ‘Peter Pan’

Rachael Goldstein advances in first round of American Ninja Warrior

A year ago, Goldstein had never competed in a ninja obstacle course before. Now, she is a ninja star as Goldstein was one of four women in the Philadelphia region of “American Ninja Warrior” to advance to the city finals. Goldstein finished in 29th place in the preliminaries to advance. The Philadelphia city finals will be televised later this summer.

Cherry Hill youth actors prepare for Mainstage Center for the Arts’ ‘Peter Pan’

Four young actors from Cherry Hill will be taking the stage at Dennis Flyer Theater on the campus of Camden County College next week as they perform in the musical, “Peter Pan.” Cherry Hill residents Allison Shapiro, Anaya Colon, Gabriella Hay and Elise Baratta will appear in the show. “Peter Pan” opens on July 13 and will run through July 15.

Cherry Hill Police make robbery arrest

A 54-year-old Cherry Hill man was arrested on July 5 when he was observed stealing a leaf blower from a resident’s garage on West Chapel Avenue. The man was charged with burglary and theft and was remanded to the Camden County Jail in default of $15,000 full cash bail.

Gas main replacement to begin week of July 18 in Cherry Hill

PSE&G announced on Friday it would soon begin a gas main replacement project in Cherry Hill Township. The project, set to start the week of July 18, would replace old gas mains along multiple roads in Cherry Hill. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. PSE&G said a list of affected roads will be released prior to the start of the project.
