Moorestown Police Reports for June 13 to July 7

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On June 13, a 20-year-old female of Camden was arrested and charged with theft and anti-shoplifting device. She stole 95 cents in assorted change from the fountain in the Moorestown Mall. She was also in possession of an anti-shoplifting device being a foil-lined bag. She was released on a summons.

On June 13, a 53-year-old male of Mt. Holly was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The man took several electronics from Sears Department Store in the Moorestown Mall for total value of $434.96. He was transported to the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

On June 13, a 20-year-old man of Willingboro was arrested and charged with theft of an iPad valued at $399.48 from Barnes & Nobles Book Store located on Nixon Drive, credit card fraud by using stolen credit card to purchase iPad, violation of a restraining order, possession of marijuana less 50 grams, escape from detention and resisting arrest. Smith ran from officer while being detained for offenses listed. He was remanded to the Burlington County Jail.

On June 20, due to a motor vehicle stop the following were arrested and charged:

A 22-year-old man of Delran was charged with resisting, obstruction, possession and distribution of marijuana, cocaine and heroin, and possession and distribution of CDS in area of a park. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $50,000 bail at 10 percent.

A 25-year-old man of Moorestown charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and various traffic violations. He was released on a summons.

On June 22, Sunglass Hut in the Moorestown Mall reported a past tense theft of eight pairs of Rayban sunglasses. The value is unknown at this time.

On June 22, a Burglary to a residence on Flynn Avenue was reported, where the kitchen window was forced open. Jewelry and a Panasonic TV were taken; the value is unknown at this time.

On June 23, a 47-year-old woman of Bordentown was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed merchandise from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall for a total value of $298.97. She was released on a summons.

On June 23, a 38-year-old female of Norristown, Pa. was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed merchandise for a total value of $378.98 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

On June 23, a 40-year-old woman of Camden was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed merchandise for a total value of $862 from Lord & Taylor in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

On June 25, the following were both arrested and charged under the same incident: A 28-year-old woman of Mt. Laurel was charged with shoplifting. She concealed two bottles of perfume valued at $148 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

A 28-year-old man of Mt. Laurel was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. He concealed seven fragrance testers valued at $619 and had a pipe and a grinder on him. He was released on a summons.

On June 25, arrested and charged with possession of hypodermic syringe was a 36-year-old man of Tabernacle David due to a suspicious persons call.

On July 1, a 20-year-old woman of Bronx, N.Y. was arrested and charged with forgery, possession of false DL, theft by deception and identity theft. She was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $10,000 bail.

On July 3, the following were arrested and charged with shoplifting from Marshalls Department Store:

A 27-year-old male of Williamstown took men’s clothing and fragrance for a total value of $271.84 and concealed the merchandise in a backpack. He was released on a summons.

A 29-year-old female of Glassboro took men’s clothing, a cell phone case and headphones for a total value of $128.93 and concealed the items in a purse. She was released on a summons.

On July 4, due to a motor vehicle stop a 36-year-old female of Maple Shade was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams. She was released on a summons.

On July 5, employees at the Moorestown Mall were walking to their vehicles when a Ford F150 pickup truck shot paintballs striking vehicles and one victim in the stomach. A 28-year-old woman of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and criminal mischief. Four juveniles ages 13, 14, 16 and 17 of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Cherry Hill were also involved in this incident and charges are to follow with the juvenile detective. The woman’s bail was set at $10,000 with 10 percent. She was released to Mt. Laurel Police for charges in their jurisdiction after posting bail. There were also reports of vehicles on East Central Avenue and East Oak Avenue hit with paintballs.

On July 7, a 25-year-old female of Philadelphia, Pa. was arrested and charged with theft by deception. She returned stolen merchandise from Lord & Taylor for a total value refund of $290. She was released on a summons.
