Haddonfield Police Reports for May 15 to May 21

The following reports are on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

On May 21, officers received a report of a male panhandling. The suspect was described as a male in a grey jacket. The 59-year-old man of Philadelphia was stopped in front of the CVS. The man was found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia. The defendant was arrested and transported to headquarters, processed and released with a summons.

On May 21, a caller from the 200 block of Hawthorne Avenue reported her unlocked vehicle was entered between the hours of 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. makeup bag and vehicle manual were taken. The makeup bag and all the contents were recovered in the front bushes of 201 Wood Lane.

On May 20, a victim reported his unsecured bicycle was stolen from 1 Kings Highway East between May 20 and May 21. It was found that officers stopped the male on the bicycle the night before and a warrant was issued. The man was a 46-year-old resident from Camden. The value of the bike was over $200.

On May 16, while investigating a motor vehicle crash, the driver of one vehicle, a 46-year-old of Audubon, was charged with a DUI. The defendant was arrested, processed and released to a responsible adult.

On May 15, an overnight, no forced entry burglary occurred to an occupied residence on the 200 block of Moore Lane. A vehicle, purse and two cells were stolen. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. Detectives were notified and responded to process the scene.
