For the sixth consecutive year, Kennedy Health will host a day of fun-filled activities to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day at Washington Lake Park, 626 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, in Sewell on Sunday, June 5.
This year also marks Kennedy’s second annual 5K Run/Walk on a USATF-certified course. The 5K Run/Walk kicks off at 8:30 a.m. Registration is 7:30 a.m. day of the event; advance registration information is below.
The 5K Run/Walk is followed by a celebration of life for cancer survivors from 9:15 a.m. to noon, starting with a special Cancer Survivors Lap and Ceremony. Other highlights include:

- Vendors
All activities are open to the public, and the registration fee to take part in the 5K Run/Walk is $30. Participants receive a race t-shirt with registration.
Go to www.kennedycancersurvivors.org by Wednesday, June 1 to reserve your spot. Race-day registration will also be available, and early packet pick-up is available on Friday, June 3 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Running Co. of Haddonfield, 121 Kings Highway East.
All cancer survivors will receive a free commemorative “survivors” t-shirt. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Kennedy Cancer Center’s Patient Assistance Fund, which provides financial support to Kennedy Health cancer patients in need.
