Letter to the Editor: NJ 1st Congressional District Democratic debate should be live streamed

Dear Editor,

letter Editor

The two democrat candidates, incumbent Congressman Donald Norcross and challenger, Alex Law, ESQ, have agreed to participate in the one and only “public” 1st Congressional District race debate this Thursday, June 2, before the June 7 New Jersey Primary Election.

The Gloucester County NAACP will host the debate at Rowan College at the Gloucester County in the Fine Arts Theater building, probably the smallest venue imaginable for a debate of less than 200 seats, (where most seats are) taken by the sponsors, candidate staff, moderators and friends.

This event needs to be live-streamed as very few voters will see this important event due to, again, the limited seating or this is not public.

The college certainly has the video and Internet resources to share this one and only time that these candidates are on stage together.
