The nanny for an Evesham family is accused of stealing $15,000 in cash and jewelry from her employer.
The resident contacted the Evesham Police Department on May 20 and reported that he believed his nanny, a 25-year-old of Mt. Laurel, had stolen cash and jewelry from his residence between February 2016 and May 2016.
The investigating officer located pictures of the nanny on her Facebook account wearing many of the victim’s wife’s stolen items. The officer also responded to nearby establishments that buy gold and located numerous pawing transactions of the suspect selling the victims jewelry.
Arrested:
A female, age 25, of Mt. Laurel, was charged with second-degree theft. She was released after her $5,000 bail was posted.
