On May 18 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Evesham Police Department responded to the area of Mildford Drive for a reported luring attempt of a juvenile female. This neighborhood is in the southern section of the township bordering Camden County.
Investigation determined that the juvenile female was riding a golf cart throughout the development looking for a neighbors lost pet, when she was passed by a male driving an older model olive green station wagon. The male slowed his vehicle and waved towards the female. The juvenile ignored the male and drove away. Minutes late the juvenile observed that same vehicle on Bortons Road, this time the male had his arm out the window motioning for the juvenile female to come towards his car.
The man is described as being in his mid-thirties with short brown spiky hair, a long beard and multiple ear piercings.
Evesham Police searched and canvassed the entire neighborhood, but the suspect’s vehicle was not located.
