Amazon.com shoppers can contribute to Literacy Now by going to smile.amazon.com and logging into their existing Amazon account or by creating a new one. Type in Literacy Now Inc. and then select Literacy Now Inc. from the dropdown menu.

After registering, each time the Amazon shopper makes a purchase and logs into smile.amazon.com, the online retailer will make a donation to Literacy Now. Registering for smile.amazon.com will not affect a customer’s account settings such as password, Prime membership or other account features.

Supporters can also purchase Shop Rite gift cards at the office of Literacy Volunteers of Camden County in the Voorhees library branch and five percent of any card purchase will go to support the literacy program.

TD Bank customers can link their accounts with Literacy Now, the financial support wing of Literacy Volunteers of Camden County. TD Bank will make a donation through its Affinity Program based on the number of linked accounts. One hundred percent of all funds go directly to support literacy throughout Camden County.

The funds raised through the programs will help LVCC in its mission to promote adult literacy. Some of the estimated 55,000 adults in the county whose literacy skills are not strong enough to read food and medicine labels, follow safety instructions or fill out job applications will benefit from the programs.
