Kennedy Health is hosting several events for the public in May.

On May 11 and May 18 Kennedy will be hosting a wellness series aimed at helping participants make the most out of this beautiful time of year.

Held from 6:30–8 p.m. at the Kennedy Center at Voorhees, 1099 White Horse Road, the events will be moderated by Mind/Body/Spirit Consultant Jen Cooley Fleisher, BS.

On May 11 will be the “Spring Scents” event where participants will learn about aromatherapy for creating a stress-free spring.

Participants can discover aromatherapy during this class, which focuses on relaxing and energizing scents to help kick off spring into summer.

Topics covered include: the use, the health benefits, and unique ways to incorporate essential oils into your life. Each student will leave with a sample they create.

On May 18 will be the “Seeing the Bright Side of Things” event where attendees will learn how small changes can make a huge impact

Participants will learn how to get the most out of this time of year by refocusing on ways to remain relaxed and present in the moment. They will explore gratefulness, curiosity and meditation, along with many other creative ideas as tools that will help you achieve a sense of fun and peacefulness.

Those interested can register online for the entire series, or individual classes, at www.kennedyhealth.org or call 1 (800) 547–9007 and select Option №3. Cost is $15 per class.
