Discover your genealogy with Maureen Wlodarczyk at Moorestown Library May 3

Who do you think you are?

If you are interested in exploring your roots and discovering more about the lives of your ancestors, join in for a three-part series on genealogical research: Who do you think you are?

Join genealogist and author Maureen Wlodarczyk with “Introduction to Basic Genealogy Research” on May 3 at 2 p.m. and get an overview of research tools Ancestry.com, Heritage Quest online, FamilySearch.org, Fold3.com, online newspaper archives and doing DNA testing to aid in your search. Helpful handouts will be provided.

Wlodarczyk will also host “Hands-on Genelogical Research Training” on Tuesday, May 10 and Tuesday, May 17 at 2 p.m. During this hands-on two part class, 90-minutes each session, the presenter will take the participants through a real life case-study search for the history of a New Jersey family using Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org and GenealogyBank.com. Participants will work directly on computers and will receive a course manual to keep.

Space is extremely limited.

All of this will take place at the Moorestown Library.

Reserve your spot by registering online through Moorestown Library website calendar or by calling the Reference Desk at 856–234–0333.
